If you plan to place a mattress at the curb for any type of pickup, be aware that some municipalities require mattresses to be enclosed in a plastic mattress bag or sleeve. Miami-Dade County is the strictest about this. Their solid waste department requires all mattresses and box springs set out for curbside collection to be sealed in a plastic mattress bag. You can buy mattress bags at most home improvement stores or online. If the mattress is not bagged, the county may refuse to pick it up. Strip off sheets, pillows, mattress toppers, and protectors before we arrive. We are happy to take bedding as part of the load, but loose bedding mixed in with the mattress can slow things down.

Clear a Path & Share Access Details
Make sure hallways, doorways, and stairways are clear. If you live in a condo or apartment, let us know what floor you are on, whether there is a freight elevator, and if your building requires reservations for move-outs.
Mention Bed-Bug Concerns
